Built in London, by people who did the job.

Who we are

Three co-founders building AI-native software for hedge-fund recruitment firms. One of us spent a year inside a financial-services search firm doing the admin we now automate. We came together to build one system that takes that work on.

What we do

Vateri is a CRM built for hedge-fund recruiters, with an intelligence layer that does the admin for them: the market map, outreach, scheduling, write-ups and the record, all in one place.

What we solve

Hedge-fund recruitment is won on relationships, but boutique firms lose hours every day to admin, because the software available was built for general recruiting, not for them. Vateri gives that time back to the work that generates revenue.

Mission

We build tailored AI that automates the administrative workload of hedge-fund recruiters.

Vision

The most trusted CRM in hedge-fund recruitment, then the platform every search firm in financial services runs on.

Why we started. A desk run on email and a spreadsheet.

One of our co-founders spent the early part of his career in buy-side executive search in London, working with some of the leading funds in the world on everything from equities to private credit and quantitative finance.

The searches were worth six figures each. They ran on long email chains between recruiter and candidate, recruiter and client, plus lists that held a name, a firm and not much else. Nobody kept the CRM up to date, because nobody had the time, so the real record lived in inboxes and in people’s heads.

He set out to fix the communication first: one place where the client, the candidate and the consultant could see the same search. That became the client portal, which is in use today. Building it made the bigger problem obvious: the admin round a search is most of the work and almost none of it needs a person.

The thread and the spreadsheet. Every search desk has them.

Three of us. Product, commercial and the evidence.

Product and delivery

The one who ran the desk

A year on a buy-side search desk, with operations inside an AI startup before that. Decides what gets built, in what order and whether it is good enough to ship.

Commercial and strategy

The one with the relationships

Where the firms come from, how the model works and what the price should be. Runs the conversations with the search firms we build alongside.

Growth and market intelligence

The one with the evidence

The competitive picture, the numbers behind the problem and the market the product reads. Builds the research the market map runs on.
